( there's a little smile, not smug but pleased with the outcome all the same. when everything was so crazy, particularly when you didn't know anything of space or technology, it was nice to have something familiar )

I confess that, for as much as I'm not certain that I want to feel comfortable here, having something that is at least familiar would be nice. Something to rely on, I suppose.
