[Believe it or not, this isn't some skeevy attempt at a pickup line. He's too tired for that. Also there would absolutely be something stupid, like a joke or a pun to make her laugh, before he proposed something like that as an actual attempt at flirting. Right now, this is the most relaxed he's been able to get in what feels like days; even if the music is sawing at the backs of his eyelids, it's better than being alone.
Relative innocence of that initial offer aside, it doesn't stop a light flush from coloring his cheeks as her head thunks against his collarbone. It takes a few seconds for him to realize what she's doing, in fact, those few seconds long enough that by the time he's aware of just how close she is, it's too late to tense up. And he doesn't want to pull away, even if she's close, really close now.
She said something, though. It takes a second for that to register, too, to cut through the solid warmth of having another person beside him. She's so small, it would be easy to roll over, take her in his arms, and hold her properly. That would be something like a movie.]
You mean... trouble sleeping on the station in general? Or...
[Does she mean hypothetically, would he have trouble sleeping in her room? Honestly, he could probably sleep in the pool if someone gave him an oxygen mask. Fuck, that's not a bad idea. Gotta try to add that as a mental note to an increasingly slippery mental whiteboard.]
