Frank finally looks up when he manages to get to a stopping point, eyes sharp when they meet Kirk's.

"It's the house all the bad guys are in, in the movies. But that doesn't mean they're all bad." Just like Gryffindors weren't all good. Frank Castle is a man who knows about morally gray better than anybody else alive. "It just means you'll do anything to get ahead, independent of personal code."

Just like his own loyal Hufflepuff-ness had made him party to an evil conspiracy, just for following orders from the wrong people.

"No house is inherently good or bad." Just like people, maybe. If Frank really believes that anymore. Maybe he was a bad egg from the start.
