"Aliens crashed your city?" Jim repeats, looking up from where he'd been petting Max. It wasn't entirely unheard of especially after Khan but he's a little more used to people staying away from Earth and just going after less defended planets.

"Why'd they do that?" Jim wonders, folding his arms on the table and looking at Frank intently.

"They want something from Earth?" Jim asks since it's either that or they'd just run up against some very cruel aliens who wanted to kill and destroy. Jim does know they exist out there too.
