"I don't doubt it," Jim says, shrugging. He's not exactly keen to be here for a lengthy amount of time but there's little he can do about it right now. He's already planning on getting involved somewhere but the best he can do is meet people, figure them out, assess strengths and weaknesses and go from there.

"She figured out anything interesting yet?" Jim asks, tilting his head, focus sharp. He's all ears because the most he can do right now, as the resident new guy, is learn.
