Matt as usual is oblivious to how he's taking her picture of Frank and crushing it by telling her his version of events. Maybe it's not fair to define Frank by the things he's done before coming here, but it certainly has shaped the way Matt looks at him, and possibly Karen. He can tell he's upset Kamala though, and he bites his bottom lip, letting the silence stretch between them. As usual, it seems he's said too much. Made things a lot more complicated than they were before, than they had to be.

"I'm not his attorney anymore." That bridge had been burnt the moment Frank got up and lashed out in court. Whatever they are is between Daredevil and The Punisher now. Matthew Murdock's not involved. He tenses up when it feels like she's about to cry, and his voice is firm. Reassuring. Nelson and Murdock got him off the extradition. Murdock won't let anyone try that move again.

"They're not. Nobody's going to kill him. I won't let them." He turns his head towards the young woman and with some small reluctance, mostly because he can't believe he's doing this, Matt loosens his fist and uncurls his little finger. "Pinky promise."
