Kamala holds up her hands defensively. She really didn't intend for it to come out that way. "I know! I totally apologized the one time I got mad at him for being a jerk and punched him the arm." She pauses for a beat. "The next day. Things were kind of heavy at the time." Kamala explains. If it seems like she is stalling for time, it's because she is. She already knows she can't hide how badly she misses her parents from even a blind man.
