Most supplies, we can stockpile in small amounts without attracting notice, if we are careful. No one guards these things. Even the water — there is a swimming pool being restored, yes? Clearly no one is monitoring our water supply with much concern.

[ Because they're idiots, in Pietro's expert opinion, but he's happy to take advantage of that fact. He's gone without basic necessities often enough in his life to guard against it ever happening again. ]

There may be something edible we can make in the mess hall that will not rot, but I think plants — perhaps a secondary garden — might be worth the effort if we can manage it, for food and for oxygen. Where to put it all, is the problem.
