It's difficult to judicious enough to see the big picture when you already have a lot on your plate. I'm sure you're the same as me.
[ that is to say, not foolish — they merely shared having too much to worry about to think about space life. ]
If there were people down there.. I'm sure they'd know we were here. That isn't to say they have a way of reaching us, but..
