[Admittedly, Alucard wasn't sure what he was expecting. Being picked up so easily is not one of them, but he doesn't argue.
He struggles to breathe, closing his eyes. He won't die, he knows that already, but it's immensely painful.
All that time, spent trying to heal -- he knows he's delayed it now. But it was a choice, and he would not change it if given an option to try again.]
