veristitalian: (facing up to duty)

[There's a second where she's in the wall up to her elbow, and she thinks to herself, 'well, this is fine. I'm wrong.' She touches a looseish wire, traces it up to a bundle, and wonders what it could possibly be for. Tying something in place? Connecting one function to another in some very literal way? The lines are tied neatly together, and continue up, on, and out of sight.

Then, because there's no point in half measures, she draws in a bracing breath and grabs the bundle hard and tries to yank it out of of place. It gives partially on the first tug, enough slack to get her arm out of the wall. She pulls upwards instead, now, dragging the wires back and forth, like she's trying to saw them off using the open panel edge. Maybe if she came from a world with electricity she'd be slightly less hasty about this. Luckily before she can get far she starts to sway. Then she outright staggers.]
