[This isn't a story she can tell standing around in the hallway.]
In Alethkar, the people are Vorin. They believe in the Heraldic Epochs, and understand that during the Desolations the Heralds and the Knights Radiant fought back the Voidbringers. They used to say that the Aharietiam marked the last time the enemy was cast into Damnation. The Heralds returned to the Tranquiline Halls, the Radiants disbanded, their power left the world, and for thousands of years humans on Roshar practiced their faith and allowed history to pass into myth, and the church to distort all of it to their own advantage.
[A beat, while she checks to be sure he's following- her path down the hall, and the story so far. Given how little she understands people from Earth when they speak, there may be terms here that she needs to define.]
