Hello.

As I'm certain you all are aware, a roster has been sent to each of our devices. Given that this is yet another item on a growing list to be examined by us all, I believe it's important for each of us to come together to discuss any possible concerns or ideas that may require teamwork.

@PALPATINE and I earlier discussed the possibility of a non-compulsory meeting to sort through these issues. We agreed it would be in our best interests.

If you're inclined, please come to the Mess Hall at 19:00 in three day's time.

Despite the crassness, he does bear a good point.

There should be no desperation to fulfill these vacant positions. We owe this place nothing. While we should be practical, making decisions as to who should do what in this manner is ill-advised.

Basic matters such as protecting ourselves and finding ways to survive are understandable. I think we all agree that adhering to one sole authority figure will not work for most, if not all of us. This is not a society I wish to live in, and I doubt any of you want that as well.

We will survive until we escape. This isn't a home, it is a detour at best.

At least we all seem to agree on that. My motto is 'live and let live', so honestly as long as no one fucks my life up I've got no reason to get in anyone else's way. That's all I really got to contribute though, unless we are gonna get some fists flyin'.

[In response, Alucard doesn't smile at all, bring the broody bitch he is.]

[Alucard turns his head away, finding himself leaning against the wall for support.]

[His question doesn't sound at all serious. Alucard has no intention of bringing harm to anyone at the moment.]

[Not that they could. This form was just a glamour, rather than the actual human body he'd once inhabited, but whatever.]

[Such an easy statement to make. Alucard simply gives a wry chuckle in return to Kira, his head bowing down slowly, eyes drooping closed.]

[He snorts at the answer, smirking back at him.]

Somehow I'm not even surprised. Look at you, Mr. Big Shot. [Maybe Kira was a little more mean to him than he meant to be, if only because he did so remind him of angels. That twisted form of 'morality', the long golden hair, the way he just seemed condescending, even if he wasn't trying.]

Well, we'll just have to see what your idea of 'Progress' is. I'm not makin' any promises.

Mm. I simply want a way for all of us to leave this place, and return to where we came. If one does not wish to leave, then so be it.

But I must return. Some of us have duties waiting for us.

[Ah, okay that was fair. Kira just shrugged at it though. Why should he want to go back? It was a 'happy ending', so to speak, but that happy ending was not his. The ones he loved and cared for were out of his reach forever, and he was no longer human.]

[Perhaps Alucard had intended to express more for their conversation, but instead he dozes off. His breathing becomes rhythmic, his eyes stay closed, and he doesn't budge much from how he's leaned against the wall.

It's miraculous he hasn't tipped over yet.]

[Nah he gets it. The guy definitely was narcoleptic or something. Still, it kind of FELT like he was being ignored purposely.]

Geez. You're gonna be a fuckin' pain, aren't you? [He huffs, just... going to grab the guy and attempt to just hoist him up and bridal carry him with probably more strength than one might expect]

Don't expect me to do this all the damn time.

[At best, Alucard hums a little when he's picked up. Fortunately, he's far too asleep to notice that he's being carried by Kira.

He leans his head against the other man's shoulder, apparently comfortable. Good job.]

[What a baby. How did this guy even live before????

Welp, Kira is just going to take him along to his room. He had no idea whre this guy stayed so he guessed it was his bed for now. Kira wasn't going to sleep anytime soon anyway, so he just... tucked the weird guy in and left him there.]

You'd better not freak out if you wake up and I'm in bed with you, shithead.

[Being put to bed really just cements that Alucard is going to definitely sleep for sometime. Which also means, undoubtedly, he's going to miss the rest of the town hall meeting.

Whatever amount of time passes -- an hour, two, or more -- eventually Kira won't necessarily find someone in his bed.

But an unusually large bat, definitely still sleeping in his place.]

[When he gets back and sees the big ass bat in his bed, he just. Stares at it for a bit. Okay, that was unexpected. Not completely strange for him, but definitely not what he expected.]

Ugh. Not sure if it's better or worse that he's a bat instead of an angel.

[Either way it was time to go to sleep. He could just kick him out of bed, but he had a distinct feeling that it wouldn't even wake him up, and while he wasn't a very outwardly friendly guy, Kira didn't want to just make him sleep on the floor.

So he just, crawls in bed beside the creature, shoving him over a little.]

Gimme some room, Nosferatu.

[The large, golden furred bat lets out a noise, close to a huff but far too squeaky to sound particularly threatening. One yellow eye opens and stares at Kira for a moment, as if Alucard is debating. It would be more sensible and probably preferable to leave, but he is pondering some details over.

Ultimately, he decides to shift over, giving room. With some effort, the bat form seems to melt away, like mist, until Alucard reverts himself to his humanoid form, his back to Kira.]

[Says the narcoleptic shapeshifting dhampir but yanno.]

You don't get to say that to me. You fell asleep face down in the showers and turned into a giant bat in my bed.

[He wasn't really upset by it, just feeling a little amused. This weird guy calling HIM wierd.

He sighed as he got comfortable under the covers.]

You are a person who self-proclaims how little he cares for others. Yet you decided to take me somewhere quiet. And you don't seem terribly concerned that I was in another form just a moment ago.

[He won't press for more than that, and he doubts he would get more -- that and he's admittedly too tired for it. Kira is certainly an ass, but Alucard gets the impression it's more complex than that.

Frankly, I don't know how concerned I should bother being. I'm already stuck on a space station, what's a vampire to me now? You already said you weren't gonna kill me, so.

[He shrugged and rolled over, his back to Alucard as well so that they were back to back.]

Anyway, maybe I'm just trying to butter you up. You're not bad on the eyes. I'd tap that. I can do selfless things for selfish reasons.

[He wasn't really looking for such a thing, but he did have to keep up his cool, disaffected front. Kira doesn't like people, no sir. And he certainly doesn't care when weirdo vampires pass out in any random place.]

[Alucard scoffs softly.]

[Though he expects there's more to Kira than he seems, Alucard isn't determined to investigate it. Not at the moment. He does idly turn the thoughts in his head, curious, but leaves it be.]

[Kira snorts out a laugh at that. Close enough, right?]

I got plenty of butter for those biscuits there, don't you worry. I'm just gettin' a head start, since I'm expecting we're gonna all get a little prison gay up in here.

[He isn't sure that's true, but he's half asleep at this point, so he's just saying whatever comes to his mind first.]

What's say I treat you to dinner sometime, sweetie? Heh heh. Get it? Cuz you're a vampire??? Ha.

I do not lay for simple pleasure. It is earned.

[Gradually, Alucard's voice grows softly, becoming very apparent he's probably going to fall asleep again shortly.]
