Team Door have identified a likely-looking door to attack! This door, located on Deck 2, has a porthole through which some blinking lights can be seen. It’s the most likely-looking door to go for, so this is how things will unfold:

1. Feel free to handwave that Apollo, Kaldur or Amos (or anyone else involved) has been in touch with your character to let them know that door shenanigans are about to go down
2. With Amos’s space engineering expertise they manage to depressurise an area around the door, effectively creating a small airlock within a section of the corridor
3. The general plan is to overwhelm the door, so that whoever is tackling it first uses whatever force they can to try to open it until they have to tap out from exhaustion, and then they get swapped out for the next person and so on and so forth
4. It will then take characters some 8 hours of flinging themselves/their powers at the door. The exhaustion and weakness that comes with attempting to damage the station will increasingly hamper their progress
5. There will be no visible progress in the first three hours but eventually cracks will start to appear and on the eighth hour the door will give
6. Once the door gives way, the mods will let us know what magical things will be found on the other side... (edit: looks like this will be announced OOCly by the mods before the 15th)

CREW QUARTERS (closed)

Martin is still faintly sure that this has to be some sort of weird fever dream, or maybe a much-delayed reaction to spending so much time in the tunnels beneath the Institute. Waking up here had been terrifying, but he'd gotten over it if only because he had no choice. So he'd collected himself and his strange new outfit, found a room of his own, and had finally begun skimming through the network on the weird little communication device he'd been given.

Answers. He'd hoped for answers, and he'd found Jon, and that felt like it had to mean something.

Which is why he's now on Deck Five with no idea where to go from here. "Jon?" he calls out hesitantly, trying to clumsily queue up Jon's contact on the comms device again. "I'm here," he sort of just shouts outside the doors to the crew quarters.

OBSERVATION DECK (open)

There's a tall young man standing right up at the window, not quite pressed against it - but nearly. He watches the planet that the station orbits, and there's something nervously pale about his face. Despite his clear uneasiness with this situation as a whole, he'll still offhandedly greet literally anyone who comes within earshot of him.

"You think there's anyone down there? On the planet, I mean. Not that I really buy into the whole 'aliens' thing, but I wouldn't have bought into 'kidnapped to space with a ship full of strangers' before this morning, either, right?" He's very English and a little desperately earnest, even if he doesn't pull his eyes immediately away from the window.

[ On the morning of the 15th, there is a network-wide ping issued approximately twenty-three minutes after the roster is released to the public. ]

Hello.

As I'm certain you all are aware, a roster has been sent to each of our devices. Given that this is yet another item on a growing list to be examined by us all, I believe it's important for each of us to come together to discuss any possible concerns or ideas that may require teamwork.

@PALPATINE and I earlier discussed the possibility of a non-compulsory meeting to sort through these issues. We agreed it would be in our best interests.

If you're inclined, please come to the Mess Hall at 19:00 in three day's time.
