[When Aqua wakes, it takes her some time to adjust. She doesn't remember anything, and the fog over her mind and the odd taste in her mouth dull her cognizance enough that she blearily traces the grooves of the metallic walls with her fingers and tries very hard to think about where she is and what exactly happened.

The device's message is ominous, but only vaguely without context. Is it possibly connected to the Unversed...?

The bottles on the wall don't interest her, meanwhile, and the lack of windows offer no immediate clue. The dreary halls outside of the room yield nothing either, except that she's back in space, and it takes her a deck or so to realize that those are doors lining the worn corridors, but she doesn't investigate them right away. It isn't until she hears...distant talking, which gives her a goal that sharpens her mind. That is, getting information from a native of this world. She's done it many times before, although she's a little warier after what happened in Deep Space (which is her closest experience with a space structure), and approaches quietly. Not that it makes a huge difference, because she can't tell where the strange woman's authority lies even with careful inspection at a distance, though she looks as rough as the rest of the station so far. And she's...muttering gruffly into her wrist, for some reason?

Well, no harm in trying to get her attention. Actually, from what Aqua can see, that device on the woman's wrist reminds Aqua of her own! Weird.]

[Aqua blinks guilelessly. She has no idea what an android is? Yeah.]

Absolutely delighted. [She doesn't sound absolutely delighted, but there's a snort of amusement.]

Before I got here, I never knew any humans. I was never going to meet my creators. And now I'm floating through space with a bunch of you. [That's kind of funny, isn't it?

A2 has a purpose again, after so long. It's nice.]

Pointless, if Aqua had to use a word for it. Possibly cruel, though it's already odd to think A2 feels obligated with regards to Aqua and other humans. Aqua appreciates respect, sure, but...

I've downloaded some first aid stuff, so I'm not completely useless, since there isn't much fighting here.

[Oh. That's interesting...but Aqua doesn't pursue it. A2's world has nothing to do with this station's predicament, so prying is unnecessary.

Aqua rolls onto her side, tapping out a message on her device.]

[She's definitely curious to know what A2 does with her time too, if her main skill is useless here. Since that means Aqua's main skill is pretty useless as well.................]

That's not true. Everyone has different experiences, even in the same place.

I'm serious though. If you know what kind of a clue you're looking for, it'd be best to share it with everyone else. More people means more things being found out.

[Aqua doesn't like it? Androids are just not something she's ever going to understand...being in charge of someone hasn't gone well for her anyway!!! Now she's allergic to it.

At A2's response, Aqua makes an interesting expression? Like she doesn't disagree, exactly, but she tilts her head away, tapping at her network device.]

...Like I said, I don't know yet. I just feel like there has to be something.

Hm. [It's a noise of A2 wanting to tell Aqua that she's clearly not wanting to say something, but honestly... It's definitely not any business of hers. Whatever it is that this human wants to keep to themselves, good for them, she supposes.]

Are you getting the hang of the network at least?

[Good. >:( It's not personal, A2, it's just the law. The law only Aqua knows about!

Aqua brightens considerably at the change in topic, turning her head to look at A2 and smiling like she wasn't being iffy two seconds ago.]

Sort of. I've never used it, though. And honestly, there's not much reason for me to.

A2 just seems somewhat distant as a rule, even if she's decided to join Aqua for a bit.]

More people to keep in contact with here anyway. [More people who matter, at least. And there's more people who might potentially need A2's help.] I'm sure you'll come to appreciate it as well. It's handy enough.

[Aqua hums, her version of agreement. She's already found it very useful! Even if the info she's been given has been limited, she feels like...she's forming friendships. Like right now!

She tilts her head A2's way again as well after a beat, curious.]

Do androids sleep, A2?

[It's not a totally random question, since that's probably what Aqua's going to do in a bit. She hasn't rested in awhile.

She doesn't want to chase her guest off just yet, though.]

We can, if we want too. [Which is also another way of A2 saying that she doesn't.] It's normally what we do if we need to do some repairs to our internal systems, since it's harder to do that with all your regular functions going at the same time too.

has no idea what A2 is saying? She's making conversation to be polite, but it's hard when they're coming from wildly different backgrounds. Hell, Aqua barely knows what surgery is, otherwise she could make that comparison, at the very least.]

I'm kind of jealous. I wish I didn't have to sleep.

[Never mind, she found a talking point. Sleep is lame, honestly? She could get so much more done if she didn't need rest...

Her statement is punctuated by a yawn.]

Aqua definitely gives A2 a weird look for that comment, then, sitting up from her previously comfy position just to shake her head slowly but emphatically. Thanks for the offer, android-kun, but! But.]
