And we are far, far from home,

» WHO? Lapis Lazuli, Alucard, Kira, Connor & their stalker, Apollo.
» WHEN? From the 22nd to the 28th
» WHERE? Starting at the station and eventually planet side.
» WHAT? A bunch of idiots go planetside
» WARNINGS? None as of yet other than Lapis' likely space racism.

Top levels in the comments.

[The position is less than heroic, but it does get him out of the water and saves him from having to climb the cliff face out. His system had automatically made physiological adjustments to keep the sea water out his clothes were now drenched. Luckily, spending the next few hours in wet clothing would be inconsequential to him.]

Thank you. Swimming is a difficult action to replicate without natural buoyancy... But I'm fine. [CyberLife: We can't make your androids swim, but we did make them waterproof.]

Can you take me to the cliffs over there?

Water... and an atmosphere similar to Earth. And plants. This is all very promising. [He says with a hint of a smile.]

I suppose I should have figured. You aren't delicate to water.

[A nod is given, and Alucard begins toward the cliffs. By the looks of it, it seems as if Lapis and Apollo are headed that way anyway.]

If nothing else, a place with organic life would be more suitable for most of the people on the station. Likely less risk with things such as the replicators.

It still does not tell us where we are. [It's regretful, but at least so far it is promising in other ways.]

[Connor's LED flickers yellow as he looks down at the water passing by, having no way within the confines of his program to understand how Alucard was able to do this. From experience, he knew this was magic, but this was the first time it had directly affected him... that he knew of, at least.

Regardless of what's keeping them hovering above the water, he's happy when his feet are on solid ground again, though he gives Alucard a soft, subtle smile of thanks before slipping his arm from around the dhampir's neck.]

Is that what you were hoping for? To be able to identify where we were? I may not have mentioned this before, but I've attempted to match the stars visible from the observation deck with any known constellations that have been discovered and I've had no luck. If we are in some alternate universe, those attempts may have been pointless.

I've attempted to read the stars myself, though I suppose that you would have more information on that than I. Still, I suppose I hoped that there would be something on this planet that could tell me anything. Signs beyond science.

It was foolish of me.

[It's not so much that he wants to return, but that he has to.]

Never mind my concerns. We should be exploring.
