[It is at least a week or two since Haru made the first announcement about finding the materials to make a hydroponics garden, and most of the time after that announcement was spent working out the kinks and working with other people in improving the state of the garden.

Today though? Haru thinks she is ready to make the garden available to other people, a space where others can come when they feel stressed out... or a space where they can come and grow anything they desire.

She sends out a text @EVERYONE:]

Hello everyone, This is Haru.

The hydroponics garden is ready and available to use. If anyone would like to drop by I will be here for quite some time if anyone has any questions. It is located right across from the Mess Hall.

[If anyone DOES decide to drop by? Haru will be there tending plants and free to answer any questions or give a simple run down of how the garden works.]

Vegetables that we can eat, aloe, sunflowers, and spathiphyllum so far, but I plan to try and expand it if I can. If I can find the resources.

How did you come across these?

( it had only been recently that vanessa had been shown how to use the network, though actually using it was something that she'd done very little of, and reading older messages was a slow process )

Some of them were various seeds located around the station. The other things were brought here by a man named Prax.

[So really it was just a game of hide and seek with the flora here.]

Then we seem to be in a fortunate situation.

Do you know what everything specifically is or will you find out once they bloom?

( the girl had known that they were herbs and vegetables but which )

The aloe, sunflowers, and spathiphyllum are what I can confidently identify so far. The fruits and vegetables came mixed.

[Which is unfortunate. But she can tell by the blooms that they will be edible at the very least.]

We are just playing the waiting game now.

Then I'll have to return once they do.

( to see everything in bloom and perhaps to also offer assistance )

To see this garden as it should be would be quite a sight.

It will be a place where we won't have to worry about running out of food, or we can grow the medicinal herbs we needs. I hope it becomes a good resource.

Do you know about the herbs? About how to apply them?

There are few that I know about. But I am always looking to learn more.

[Haru had a lot of learning to do. She wants to do this garden, and the people here right and learn properly.]

Depending on what grows I may be able to tell you some things. A friend taught me much about the properties of various plants.

( knowledge that she'd kept with her even without the practice. london hadn't afforded her many opportunities there )

[The more people she has on board with even a fraction more knowledge than her? She is here for it, and entirely gracious.]

Of course. ( vanessa offers a smile ) It would be nice to see this place as you described. It may be able to do more than that, also.

I'm hoping that with a little more tending and love, the garden will be just as I have described it.

And that with your help, I will be able to grow things that will be helpful in other ways than just food.

I feel lucky as it is to have found a small handful of people who know things about gardening and this more modern equipment. It's lovely.
