[It is at least a week or two since Haru made the first announcement about finding the materials to make a hydroponics garden, and most of the time after that announcement was spent working out the kinks and working with other people in improving the state of the garden.

Today though? Haru thinks she is ready to make the garden available to other people, a space where others can come when they feel stressed out... or a space where they can come and grow anything they desire.

She sends out a text @EVERYONE:]

Hello everyone, This is Haru.

The hydroponics garden is ready and available to use. If anyone would like to drop by I will be here for quite some time if anyone has any questions. It is located right across from the Mess Hall.

[If anyone DOES decide to drop by? Haru will be there tending plants and free to answer any questions or give a simple run down of how the garden works.]

[What's... what's high school? Or graduating?

But it's the latter part that leaves an awkward feeling in his stomach. His own father was a wandering Tia so he never knew him, but he can sympathise with the loss. People can have complicated relationships with their family -- Aymeric... -- but blood is still blood. He dips his head, briefly.]

I'm sorry for the loss of your father. Are you alright?

[He's not sure how long ago it was... but she doesn't appear much older than she did in his vision...]

[Just put it this way, 17 is far too young to be married away. Especially under her circumstances.

She tilts her head a little, she appreciates the sentiment.]

Thank you. I have come to terms with it now, I think. He may not have been the best man, or made the best choices... but he was my father. I would have done anything to save him from his fate.

[lightduties]

[Rhea'lli nods. He understands, in a way. People aren't perfect. Even if they do something one doesn't agree with doesn't mean they can't be cared for. It doesn't mean that people can't wish for different outcomes.

Outcomes where he doesn't have to be the one to cut down those selfsame people.]

People always wish to protect those they care for.

[A smale smile.]

But we keep on going, for those we have lost.

You are correct. For all that my Father couldn't achieve, I will achieve it myself in the most respectable manner possible.

[She takes a breath. She has never had to tell her secrets and her pain so quickly.]

Is this an ability you have always had?

[Rhea'li stays silent while she collects herself. He hopes that she has friends to support her endevours. Though he often had to tackle the challenges presented to him alone, the fact he now has people he can call friends and companions helped steel his resolve, despite their losses.

At her question, he shakes his head.]

Nay. 'Twas one that only surfaced little more than two years ago. The power of the Echo is rare, but 'tis not a unique one.

[A smile as the tip of his tail twitches.]

Were it two years ago, I dare say you would find me face first in your garden instead of speaking like this.

[Haru is lucky to have the friends that she does, really. She has friends who hold her hand through the worst, and stand tall with her at the best. Truthfully they have become the family that she lacks.

She tilts her head.]

Did it effect you that greatly after you were able to see into someone's past?

[Haru is always a curious girl. Asking question upon question.]

[He doesn't mind the questions!

Rhea'li nods.]

It was new. Unfamiliar. One is not a master of power the moment it falls in their hands.

[Though there's no doubt that his skill in Arcanima and Summoning grew at an extremely rapid rate. And there's no doubt his power had grown hundredfold after being thrown through trial after trial. Being here, he feels almost blinkered in comparison to how he was on Eorzea. But he will not let that stop him from doing what must be done.]

Nay, the first vision I experienced, I nigh collapsed in the arms of a stranger. Never did I think that we would be working together frequently in the near future.

[Not quite what happened. But it makes a better story, no? The tip of his tail twitches in his amusement.]

[Haru understands that completely. The first summon of her Persona was quite similar. She remembers feelings weak and tired after he full awakening. She remembers the pain she felt after only getting through one or two levels of that Palace.

She nods.]

Sometimes gaining a new power is like that. Does the person you work with have this same ability, or is it truly that rare?

[lightduties]

[He shakes his head.]

She does not.

[If the Echo was more common, then maybe he wouldn't have to fight so hard. Maybe he wouldn't have to shoulder so many of the world's plights. Nevertheless, he smiles.]

But she is quick of mind and tongue, and well versed in healing magic in ways I cannot begin to compare.

[His services are only truly needed when there is something to be destroyed, after all. The rest of the time, he's just there to look pretty at diplomatic meetings he basically zones out in.]

[mapsio]

I wouldn't suppose that she is here with you, is she?

[Haru can't deny her interest. This has become less gardening and more getting to know the person in front of her... and she can't really complain about that. The only good thing to come out of this place has been the people.]

[lightduties]

[Rhea'li shakes his head.]

I've not seen hide nor hair of her. Unless you've seen another Miqo'te, she is not here.

[And since no one here seems to know what that is, he points to his ears.]

She's much like myself, save for her eyes. Hers are narrow and slitted [He means the pupils, similar to a cat's] like every Seeker of the Sun.

[mapsio]

[Ah, so that is what he is. She nods in understanding, taking it to heart.]

I can't say I have seen anyone who is similar to you. Though perhaps it is better if no one else from our worlds shows up. This is already quite a messy situation.

[She hums a little in thought, mostly to herself. She didn't mean to sound so negative there.]

[Though he be glad to see the faces of his friends...]

No freedom, no direction... I would not wish this upon my worst enemy. Though [a small smile] my companions are more likely to find a solution to returning home than I.

[He's just not very smart in that regard!]

I think that no one here could find the answer on their own, instead we must all work together towards the answer. I know all of us want to get back to our respective homes one day.

[She smiles, never giving up on encouraging people.]

[Goin home... During his lowest point in his life, he'd considered leaving the lands he'd grown up in and going somewhere where no one knew who he was. He could have. He could have left Eorzea to rot without their hero.

But he didn't. And he was both better and worse for it.

A nod.]

Aye. There's none sweeter experience than the return home.

[Honestly, he just wants to be somewhere where he can feel the wind on his face and the earth under his feet. In a way, all of Eorzea was his home. But in the meantime...]

We were to plant vegetable seeds. Can you show me how?

[mapsio]

Mm, of course!

[Back on topic, Haru is going to pull over one of the planters. This is where they will get the seeds started.]

So, what we're going to do is make a little hole big enough for the seed and then cover it well. We will need to put the new seeds under the heat lamps.

[lightduties]

[Rhea'li nods, paying close attention to Haru's instructions as she provides them. If there's one thing he's good at -- aside from fighting... -- it's following instructions.]
