Connor Wandering Around (probably licking things) ~ open to the group
The atmosphere is suitable for humans. Nitrogen 75.33%, oxygen 23.01%, water vapor 1.21%, carbon dioxide 0.36%, 0.09% inorganic salts, organic matter and microbes, likely from the sea spray.
The chemical composition of organisms on the planet are similar to those found on Earth. No toxins or radiation detected. Current temperature: 73 degrees Fahrenheit.
[He crouched, recording zooming in on the algae covered rocks. Without hesitation, he dipped a finger in the green-purple goo and brought it to his mouth to 'taste' it.] Organisms similar in chemical makeup and structure to algae, lichens, and ferns seem most prevalent. These plants could be used to provide nutritional supplements to the station.
The rock is possibly basalt or gabbro.

Welp, might as well use the guy to his advantage.]
Hey Barbie! Come try these plants.
[Kira gota handful of things from the ground that he was planning on just trying to smoke but hey if the guy is over here finding out chemical makeups by licking, maybe he can streamline the process.]
no subject
Dutifully, he stood up and walked over to Kira, looking at the handful of plants he was holding with keen interest.]
Try them? Are you hoping to bring plants back to the station? I should let you know that I can only analyze chemical makeup and potential nutritional value and not palatability. [Because why else would someone ask him to sample things unless they planned to eat them at some point? Or make them available for other people eat them?
Without further delay, he took one of the plants, doing a visual inspection first before putting one of the leaves in his mouth. After a moment, he removed it and let it fall back to the ground.] It appears to have a similar structure to ferns. It holds no nutritional value and would not be digestible by humans.

He lets Connor do his thing a moment longer before interjecting curiously: ]
If you found something poisonous, would it hurt you?
no subject
No. I'm an android. I have no biological functions for a poison to affect. Furthermore, I can analyze samples, but I'm not actually ingesting them.
[He straightens his slightly damp dress shirt and adjusts the cuffs as he spoke before wiping the algae off his fingers.]
I apologize, there wasn't much time for introductions before we departed. My name is Connor. You're Apollo, right?
[With his jacket, which read ANDROID in big letters across the back, hung up to dry off, the only telling characteristic that marked him as potentially inhuman was a small, circular LED on his right temple. Otherwise, CyberLife had designed him to look and sound as human as possible.]
no subject
Apollo, that's right. Good to meet you, Connor. [ Curiously he drifts closer, brows pinched in the faintest frown of thought. ] Sorry if I ask any insensitive questions. You're the first android I've ever met, I think...
no subject
Likewise. Alucard spoke very highly of you. [He gives Apollo a polite, but empty, smile.]
There are no insensitive questions. Not for androids.
I'm surprised that you haven't run into any of the other androids on board. They're from different times and places than I am, however. We're all androids. We're just... a little different from one another. [So far, he knew of three distinct groups, including himself.]
no subject
Oh? Well. Alucard is a gentleman. He would.
[ Despite the fact that Apollo threw a plant at his face a few moments ago. ]
So what makes you different from the others, Connor?
no subject
Our hardware is noticeably different. CyberLife, the company who creates androids where I'm from, wanted androids to look as human as possible but to act with complete obedience. The other three androids I've met also seem to have been designed for military use. I was designed to assist detectives with crime scene analysis, hostage negotiations and suspect interrogations.
We also seem to have varying definitions of deviancy. That's what it's called when an android deviates from its programming.
[He pauses for a moment, the small LED on the side of his temple flickering blue.] May I ask you a question? Alucard said you somehow... absorbed power from the sun. How does that work?
no subject
Good question.
[ Apollo smiles at the sun, briefly, before turning that smile on Connor. ]
I don't really know. Strange, isn't it? Something to do with absorbing and reforming solar energy... [ He tails off with a helpless shrug. ] The man who designed me didn't think to fill me in on the details.
no subject
He blinked and met Apollo's eyes again, optics once again adjusting now that he wasn't staring straight at the sun.]
Someone designed you? A man?[His brow furrowed a little.] I don't understand.
