[hell yes. The wolf probably looks absolutely ridiculous and less ferocious with his tongue hanging out of his mouth, enjoying the belly rubs. He pants, looking pleased as heck. Then--

What's this? What's this? As Ryuji continues to give him those belly rubs, the wolf's leg twitches.

Could it be that he's close to the magic spot?]

[He's a man on a mission. A mission worthy of a man like Ryuji, who, for the most part- despite the fact that he's probably patting thing air and looking crazy, obliges so willingly that heads would spin.

Is this wolf drunk, though? Holy shit.

The rationale behind this seems legit. He got his spirit animal drunk by drinking, himself. This is wild. They're totally connected.]

[Congratulations, Ryuji. If this was a video game, this wolf would definitely be having floating hearts of affection and appreciation right now. That leg? Going nuts. That tail? Wagging. Tongue? Out.

The wolf definitely has what looks like the dopiest grin possible right now.

[Oh god what is he supposed to do with this Major Life Development?

He starts laughing so much that tears start welling up on the corner of his eyes.]

Man, you shouldn't be cooped up in this tiny ass room. Wanna race?

Tail comes up, and the wolf wriggles out from under Ryujis magic touch before going back onto all fours.

Heck yeah he wants to race. BOOF!]

[And with a little bit of mental fanfare to the entire ordeal, Ryuji finds himself smirking at the wolf next to him. It's only a few seconds before he takes off like the wind, down and out of the bar, making like a bat out of hell.

There's no way he can outrun a wolf, even in the good days when he was on the track to becoming a national track star, well before his leg was broken and that particular future crushed. But damn, does he try. He speeds off, not sure of the destination, rather, just where his feet will take him, wherever that end point might be.]
