» WHO? Anyone who wants to eat some popcorn and watch some movies
» WHEN? Mid-September, evening
» WHERE? Mess Hall
» WHAT? It's a movie night! Featuring horror films because the dumb teenage boys in charge of the communicator streaming the films (Hajime and Ryuji) won't admit they'd rather watch a rom-com than a horror movie
» WARNINGS? None, please tag top-levels if something comes up!
The smell of popcorn wafts enticingly from the Mess Hall one evening, and while it does come from the replicators, meaning the taste still at times is a little off, it's undeniably popcorn. Salty, caramel, buttered... there's even a bowl of curry-flavored perched on one of the tables, though it's hard to tell which is which thanks to the dimmed lighting.
The reason for all the popcorn and the dimmed lights is pretty obvious from even a casual glance. In one corner of the mess hall, someone (Hajime) has hooked up their communicator to one of the larger screens. There's some pillows and blankets to make the usual seating a little more comfortable and reminiscent of a movie theater. It's an attempt to bring something a little normal to a station that increasingly seems more and more abnormal with every new revelation.
[It's a mingle! Feel free to just pick any style of horror movie for your threads; Hajime's communicator has several non-specific ones according to the mods.]
